Biography
Omnia Salem is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree at Yangzhou University, specializing in the Faculty of Hydraulic Science and Engineering. With a rich background, Omnia brings over 10 years of extensive work experience in the field of remote sensing, acquired through her tenure at the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation. Omnia aims to present her research on utilizing remote sensing technology to detect soil salinity. Her research focuses on enhancing agriculture and irrigation techniques in Egypt by leveraging advanced remote sensing techniques. With a solid foundation in both academic studies and practical experience, Omnia Salem is motivated to make contributions to the field of hydraulic science and engineering, particularly in the context of agricultural sustainability and water resource management.
