Biography
Sarhan Zerouali is an aerospace engineer, aerodynamicist, and a Geographic Information System (GIS) enthusiast. He recently received his MSc. in aerospace engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Wiener Neustadt (FHWN), Austria. Prior to that, he obtained his first MSc. in Mechanical Systems Engineering from École Nationale Supérieure d'Électricité et Mécanique and worked as a Product Support Engineer from 2014 until 2017 at Zodiac Aerospace.
Mr. Zerouali is currently conducting an independent research in the field of remote sensing and trying to integrate modern trends in technology to help alleviate the inevitable global challenges arising from the natural phenomena of land degradation and the anthropogenic contributors to climate change. He believes that the recent drastic changes in space economics constitute an infliction point that is driving innovation Earth Observation.
