Biography

Francisco Nemiña is currently working in the acquisition, processing and analysis of spectroradiometric data in the context of water quality applications of remote sensing. His main focus lies in the analysis of hyperspectral unmixing algorithms and their uncertainty for the classification of cyanobacteria species. This work forms part of the monitoring and modeling of ambiental quality indicators research group at the Gulich Institute in the National Space Agency of Argentina (CONAE).

Previously, he was involved in the processing of ocean color remote sensing data within the framework of the SABIA-Mar satellite mission, also under the auspices of CONAE where his contributions centered on the domain of atmospheric correction and algorithm development.
