LIFE Calls for Proposals 2025: claim your share of €600 million and help create a sustainable future for Europe!

The EU LIFE Programme is launching the 2025 Call for Proposals, and once again we want to help you take your green ideas to the next level. As the #ForOurPlanet campaign gets under way, there’s never been a better time to turn your vision into action! If you’ve got an idea for conserving nature, protecting the environment, taking climate action or transitioning Europe to clean energy, your project could be in for a share of the €600 million just announced for 2025.

World Water Week 2025: Water for Climate Action

Organised by Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI).

World Water Week 2025 will take place on 24–28 August, online and in Stockholm.

World Water Week’s 2025 theme is ‘Water for Climate Action’. The Week will focus on addressing the linked emergencies of climate change, environment degradation and biodiversity loss.

Registration and programme will be available on the event website from May 2025.

GEO Global Forum 2025

The inaugural GEO Global Forum in 2025 will be a premier global event to inspire all elements of our society – from Ministers and global leaders to citizens – to harness Earth Intelligence to empower informed and ambitious actions to ensure food security, restore ecosystems, prevent disasters, and confront the triple planetary crisis, transforming the Sustainable Development Goals into an achievable reality.

The GEO Global Forum takes place in Rome, Italy on 5-9 May 2025.

EO Summit

His key work involves forest succession, drought, and rangelands which were accomplished through collaboration with institutions like WWF, ICIMOD, ICRAF, AFCD, and KFBG.

Dr. Kabari Sam is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher in Environmental Systems at the University of Portsmouth, where he leads both the BSc Environmental Science and BSc Marine Environmental Science programmes. A chartered environmentalist and fellow of the Higher Education Academy, his teaching spans critical areas such as groundwater protection, contaminated land remediation, blue carbon and coastal management, and climate change governance.
