Events banner
04 - 10 Jul 2021

The ISPRS Congress (2021 digital only) is the leading forum where classical and emergent topics related to photogrammetry, remote sensing, and spatial information sciences are discussed. It continues the unique tradition of gathering scientists, educators, and engineers from multiple domains and more than 100 countries. It promotes cross-fertilization between topics and communities, public and private sectors.

Topics of interest include all aspects of photogrammetry, remote sensing and spatial information sciences including, but not limited to:

  • Small and low-cost sensing
  • Terrestrial and mobile mapping in complex indoor and outdoor environments
  • Sensors and constellations for Earth observation
  • Embedded systems
  • Navigation, georeferencing, sensor pose estimation and autonomous navigation
  • Multi-image geometry, DEM and 3D model generation
  • Spatial, spectral and temporal analysis of image and range data
  • Pattern analysis, machine learning methods for object detection and recognition
  • Image classification and point cloud processing
  • Integration and fusion of multiple data sources
  • Upscaling of processing methods, parallel and cloud computing
  • Industrial, heritage, space, underwater and environmental applications
  • Physical modelling of electromagnetic radiation, analysis of spectral signatures;
  • Applications in landuse/landcover, nature resources, weather/atmosphere and climate, cryosphere, coastal and ocean, forestry/agricultural and ecosystems/biodiversity
  • Multidimensional spatial model and representations
  • Semantic modelling, development and linking of ontologies
