International Partnership Programme: Development from Space - A Summary of the IPP Midline Evaluation
Author | |
Abstract |
This case study is produced under the International Partnership Programme (IPP), a £30 million per year ‘space for sustainable development’ programme run by the UK Space Agency.
Since launch in 2016, IPP has grant-funded 33 projects in 44 developing countries across Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America which aim to use satellite technology and data services to tackle development needs. Monitoring and Evaluation is fundamental to IPP – both at programme and project level – so, following three and a half years of implementation, a midline evaluation was carried out by Caribou Space to assess how IPP had been delivered and achievements so far. This case study summarises those results and lessons learned.
