SG [Benin] will work on the contribution of the space sector to the socio-economic and technological development of Africa and Benin. SG [Benin] focuses on how best to harness the sector’s resources to achieve the African Union’s SDGs and Agenda 2063 and create inclusive and equal societies for all Africans.

SG[Benin] has as objective to provide a clear roadmap on how the space sector can help to make UN SDGs and AU 2063 reality by showing the importance of space technologies to those goals and demonstrate how space technologies can benefit all African countries. This event will gather space industry and young space enthusiasts from Benin and all around Africa to think about how space sciences can be used to tackle every African problem such as economic development, innovation and technology, access to water and food.
