This year's AmeriGEO Week will take place in Bogotá, Colombia, from 11 to 15 August 2025 and is being co-hosted by IDEAM and IGAC in partnership with Canada at the National University of Colombia.
ABOUT AMERIGEO
AmeriGEO Week is an inclusive event that brings together diverse communities and fosters connections, encouraging collaboration across national, regional, and international efforts in integrated research on Social Sciences and Earth. These collaborations aim to combine Earth observation data, socioeconomic information, scientific research, citizen observations, ancestral knowledge, and other sources of information with modeling, data prediction and scenario analysis to inform decision-making.
Through these collaborations, AmeriGEO seeks to promote information sharing across all levels and sectors, thereby improving capacities and empowering society to address environmental, social, and economic challenges.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Professionals, academia, government institutions, the productive sector, national and international organizations, and the general public interested in innovation and collaboration around Earth observation data.
