Climate Zone
"A climate zone is a classification of the type of weather that is experienced in a specific geographic region of the world. Climate zones are differentiated based on average temperatures and the amount of precipitation that occurs in an area. Climate zones have subclimates with more specific determining factors. The length and severity of winters and summers, along with the types of vegetation found in the area, can determine a geographic region's subclimate group (or groups)."
